Hello PR network!
On the International Day of Peace on September 21, active citizens from around the world will unite to promote and advocate for peace in their communities. We have two particularly significant initiatives for this day in which we need your strong support in promoting.
The Global Search for Peace
The Global Search for Peace is an interactive scavenger hunt in which participants will promote and take action for peace and the 17 Global Goals. What is a scavenger hunt? A scavenger hunt is an interactive game in which an individual or a group of individuals compete to complete a list of action steps from a provided list in a given period of time. However, since we are taking action for the International Day of Peace there will not be a formal competition, just one global team effort to take action and spread peace!
In the button below. there is The Global Search for Peace Social Media Guide which includes sample Facebook, Instagram and Twitter posts to promote this event which will take place around the world September 16–21.
More information about The Global Search for Peace, including the downloadable action guide and toolkit, is available on www.peaceispossible.cc/search4peace.
The Peace is Possible on Thunderclap
Thunderclap is a platform that amplifies an organizations message to followers on social media. JCI has a goal of reaching 500 supporters for this initiative. If we succeed, a pre-set message will be posted on our supporters’ pages at the same exact moment on the International Day of Peace to amplify the campaign message across social media. The guide bellow provides information about the Thunderclap platform as well as what we aim to achieve with it. It also provides sample social posts for Facebook and Twitter. There are not any promotional images as part of this guide as the campaign’s Thunderclap image will appear automatically when posting.
