Nothing could be as close to the truth to the above quote. The membership of AIESEC Diponegoro University, UNDIP for short, identified how the issue of mindset affected their growth in incoming Global Volunteer. It acted as a pilot for other solutions and made it possible for them to create leadership experiences for more people.
Value Proposition Clarity
With a clear value proposition for GV they communicated the right value of iGV. They realised that members and customers misconstrued the original message of delivering iGV. It is not just about bringing different cultures to you school. It changed their perpective.
Clear Implementation Idea
They had to be clear on what they needed to do, rather than picking random ideas to implement. They ensured they were followed a concrete plan with measurable results.
Innovating around the timelines of two projects, they ensured that EPs could always have an experience, even at off-peak seasons. Getting members and enablers responsible for project delivery on the same page was also critical to the success of the strategy.
Never stop learning how to do things better because there is always a better way. UNDIP found a better way; You can too.
